Question 9

            A song that I can relate to is by the group named BOY and the song is called “skin”. I can relate to this song because in my past I would go out and party and do things I would regret. One of the verses would say “You can feel like a part of something if you're part of the scene, you can make your life look pretty out a little ice and gin, Wash off the make-up and prepare the aspirin, well you can get out of this party dress but you can't get out of this skin”. Why I relate to this song lyric is because at this time in my life I was not happy but everyone thought I was I would just put on a fake smile. And when I did some of the things I did and go out to party’s I would go home wash off the night, but wake up to a morning full of doubts that won’t go away.

            If I had an opportunity to start my career as a performer I wouldn’t hesitate. If I had this opportunity I would still love to go to school. But I don’t think would have the time for school and work with all the things that come to mind with performing, like dress rehearsals and practices. If this was to happen I know career would come first before school because you only have one life to live and I would choice what would make me happy right now. That doesn’t mean school wouldn’t make me happy but a chance to live my dream come first.
