1.)
My most memorable experience from high school
was marching band. The music we practiced played and performed at football
games, concerts, completions, were challenging for me. It was challenging
because I didn’t know how to read music that well and band camp was hard work.
I remember in marching band my instrument was the bass drum. I had the biggest
one in the drum line and it was cool but hard as well. The cool part about it
was I had an instrument that has a lot of bass and I was like the foundation in
the music. Without the bass the music wouldn’t had sound more interesting, and
forceful. I love bass by the way. My experience with marching band was
important because it taught me some things where in the real world I would use
daily and for the rest of my life such as be early to work every day and not be
late. My music teacher always told ever
body in the band to be early to practices, and performances. That would always
stick with me.
2.)
Now that the Bride Program is almost over, I
feel like I made it through and Columbia College will accept me. I think the
Bridge Program helped me in my writing skills and stayed engaged in the activities
we did. It was fun as well.
