Agua- Zullay

            Water to me is the root of everything we see, smell, taste, touch, and can hear. Everything comes from water, and so many people do not appreciate it. Like the lake for instance, everyone think it’s just plain old Lake Michigan where you can get in the water and go on the beach, but people don’t respect it. They eat and throw their wrappers in the water like it’s nothing. I took part In the Foster Beach cleanup for three years and it made me realize how much garbage there is on the beach. There are so many garbage cans on the beach area and people still do not take the time to put their trash where it is supposed to go. When I see this it really makes me sad and angry at the same time because the people that do this now are what are going to kill our future generations and make all of our animals become instinct in the near future. Because of so many beach cleanups I’ve done, I’m always very strict when I’m around my friends and they just throw a little gum wrapper on the floor. I will make them pick it up and throw it in the garbage.
