I'm sure most would agree when i say we all have some part of our child hood that we miss. Some times we reminisce on the days where wed run to and icecream truck, energy to play for hours, and where every girl or boy had cooties. Of coarse there were some negatives of being a child like not having a voice, being underestimated, & being broke. Up until the age of 15 i always thought $1 was a lot to spend. Silly me. But personally,I miss the stress free part of my childhood.
Being young typically meant you were ignorant of the real world. At the age of 17 and under you don't have the responsibilities of paying taxes. We didn't experience the stress of paying a bill, going to work to maintain a position. Our worries were winning the spelling bee in class, getting that sticker or a piece of candy for coloring in the lines, and watching our favorite cartoons right before nap time.Yeeea, those were the good old days. Elders always say , "don't try to grow up to fast, at one point your going to wish you hadn't."
Now that i am an "young adult" i already see what my mamma was talking about. I cant go back so i have to enjoy the times i have now. The main perk of being an adult is being able to go out and get your own. I'm a very independent person and very persistent. I feel i can only rely on myself so if theres something in my way i find other ways of getting what i need done.
