PARTY PARTY PARTY !

1. What activities do you do outside of school and why? What made you want to start doing that activity?

When I'm out of school the main things that are on my mind are shopping and partying. I shop for things to wear to the parties and major events i know that are coming up soon. I party because that's just what i do. It started sophomore year when i was turning sixteen. There wasn't much to do in Tennessee so i decide to thrown my first Sweet Sixteen House Party. Well, it turnout to be a complete success. The party was so good that everyone started asking me when the next one was going to be. Later on i decided to throw another party. This time the turnout was bigger then ever. There weren't enough parking spaces and it felt like my floor was going to cave in. After that night me and my play brother thought that this would be a good business to invest in but we would need a bigger space. We called up buildings and eventually the rescue center i volunteered at allowed me to have the parties there for a small fee of fifty dollars. Of course this was a great investment because me and my brother Willie figured we'd pay the fifty out of our pockets and charge three dollars at the door. By the end of the night we made eight times what we had originally spent back. We never spent more than that because i had already had the music a equipment and my sisters boyfriend was a DJ. This is were connections come in handy. Soon people started seeing our success of throwing parties and decided to ask us to host and throw their parties. I figure work now and being to play and dance later was a good combo so that's what we did for the next two years. Now I'm here in Chicago so for now I'm just going to attend the parties and observe how they do it here then ill find a partner who is already well known up here and get back in the game. I mean whats to hate about my after school activities ? I get to network, make, money do what i love which is dance, and hopefully make a career out of it.
