If I would be able to start my career now I would have to
say that YES I would be still going to Columbia College. Reason behind this
would be because I may now a little bit about animating a character and of
course know how to move, but there are still some things in this I do not know
how to do. Not to mention I, at the moment, do not have the qualities and
skills needed to create the motions and movement and put them to the person
that needed to be animated for the video game and what not. So the skipping
school and getting the job right away is pointless and I wouldn’t last a month
there. Unless I was uber-smart (Yes I know ‘uber’ isn’t a proper word)
With that said school, Columbia College, is very much
important for me to actually do this job and is a great opportunity to get on
my feet and understand the techniques needed to be a game art designer and maybe
become a little more well-known than how I would if I just found myself a no
name company and just started with no idea what I was doing whatsoever. Now if
I was going into my writing right away then that would be a different story
since I have been writing since I was ten. Sure I never finished a book but I
just need a deadline that isn’t given by myself otherwise I would never write.
