I thought the program would be more like a lecture and introduction to what was to be expected when college starts, and basic studies of English. My expectations changed a little bit, I didn’t know that English studies was like an actual class, I thought it would be more like a refreshment of basic reading and writing. I also thought that everyone would go together as a group to the different locations we had to go to. I knew that there would be lectures during this program; I knew that the times in the schedule wouldn’t change in the day, and I also knew where the bridge program was going to take place. I expect for me to get through the bridge program so I can be fully emitted to Columbia College. I also expect to learn a little more in English studies and to be more familiar with the campus of Columbia College. And to get to know more of the staff of Columbia, and what is going on. I plan to be on time to the bridge program every single day, and to turn in all of my homework assignments in on time. I also plan to do my best in the program and pay attention to everything the instructor has to say. I am here because I care about my success.
