Everywhere is Music!

 Everyone would have a favorite musical group and their own little reasons to why they would like this person or group of people. For me there is at least two but one would have to be my all-time favorite, namely because of what really got these people to get together and create a band and they would be Chameleon Circuit, a band in the UK that is inspired and based on nothing but the hit TV series, Doctor Who, that was first created around the 80’s for about 42 years and just ended after that time. It was recently brought back, year 2005. It’s just an increasable series of time and space travel in a ‘little’ blue box, though it’s bigger in the inside, called the TARDIS.  (Time and Relative Dimension in Space)

                People who know the series DW would be able to tell that these people where major fans of the show just by their name since there is a cloaking device in the TARDIS that can make it look like anything where ever the Doctor would land, it was called a Chameleon Circuit. For an example on what the TARDIS could turn into would be say the Doctor landed in Egypt it would maybe turn itself as a pyramid or something to that extent.

What I like about this band is since they are extreme fans of DW they pretty much make songs that are based on the different episodes of each series, season, of the show. Say there is an episode in series three called Blink which is about these angel statues that if they are being seen by something they turn into stone but if that something would look away they would come back to life and they are fast  faster than anyone could even believe and if they touch something they will send that something in that past and would live off the years that thing would have in the present; and this song is pretty much giving the simple version of the episode with the lyrics along the lines of:

Just don't blink
I said, don't blink
Just look directly at them
And they'll stay where they are
I think they're crying anyway
They can't mean no harm
My eyes are watering
I'm right on the brink
I'm sure nothing would happen
If I were to- (blink)

Pretty much there isn’t a real impact or influence in my life that they put on me, but not all bands really need to put an impact on a person, they just like the band based on the lyrics or the feel that person gets when they are listening to it. In other words pretty much the main reason why I like this group would be the fact that I for sure without a doubt absolutely love Doctor Who. Who is really to say that I am wrong for liking this band when most of them haven’t even heard of them because they are more famous in the UK and we live in America? Some people just like the British Broadcasting and things more English made, that doesn’t mean they are not good. I like what I like and there is nothing more to say on that.
