Mizz Brezzy,
When,
I first arrived at Columbia College's Bridge Program, I never excepted to meet
and make new friends. The people here are amazing, so talented, nice and
wonderful personalities. My first impression of Bridge, I have to admit I was a
little scared because I thought the professor was going to be mean, turns out
the professor's do everything to make sure you are college ready, they assist
you with the tools you need in order to succeed. I enjoyed my first day at Bridge even though
I was shy, I overcame that.
My
expectations have changed because I’m more open to my professors, asking them
questions if I don’t understand something. I feel like I can just ask them
anything and they will give me an accurate and direct answer. And, even though
it is more work than High School I think that I’ll be able to handle it, but
that what college is mainly about right? But, I know I can do it, all it takes
is determination, faith and trust. What I intend on getting out of the Bridge
Program is to be able to not only handle college writing, also to take my
writings to the next level by making sure its College ready, making sure that
my writings are precise and visual that way my audience can understand.
I
will do whatever it takes to get into Columbia, going to Columbia is like one
of my dreams, I will work hard, be attentive, be on time for every class, ask
questions and while I’m at it I’m going to kick some ass because not only is
the Bridge Program going to help me but, it will make my writings better.
