My name is Michelle Olk; I am nineteen years of
age. I was born in Round Lake IL. I am a writer and a gamer. One of the reasons
why I decided to apply for Columbia College would be because there are not many
colleges that pretty much just focus on the creative side of one’s brain and I
have never really been good with all the other classes that school may have for
me. But I have been writing little fiction stories since I was in eighth grade;
feel in love with the art of writing ever since then. Also grew up playing
video games with my brother and always wondered on what was really needed to
create a game; all the elements into it, besides the codes and the voices of
the characters and what not. Also I already have a friend who is going to this
school and I kind of enjoy already going to a school where I already have a
friend since I am at times very much shy when it comes to meeting knew people.
More things that might give a better view on the type of person I am would be I
am a video lover, pretty much to the point if I hear a word and it happens to
be in a quote for a movie or tv series that I have watched, I can quote the
entire line. Really looking forward to the time I have with these people in
this program and really hoping things go well and I am able to stay here for
the next four years-give or take.
