Blog question # 5

1.   1.   My favorite musical performer on drums is Calvin Rodgers because the way he plays is so amazing. As a gospel drummer he’s very versatile in his playing. He can play jazz, blues, Latin, rock, R&B, hip-hop, he can just play about any genre in music. I want to be able to play like him and learn different genres that I don’t normally play. Gospel music has been the genre I’ve played the longest but as I was growing up I started to listening to other music such as R&B, rap, rock, and playing to them.  In specific ways Calvin Rodgers has an impact on my life because he has a humble spirit, He doesn’t think in that way like he’s the best drummer in the world, and his very gifted and talent. He’s a beast!!!!

2.   2.    My views on environmental issues are the streets and roads of Chicago. Since I’ve been living in Chicago for a long time I notice the streets and roads never are fixed. I feel that’s making people spend more money on their car parts because the streets are never smooth when you drive. Some streets and roads are lopsided, grumpy, and not leveled right. I also feel when the construction workers decide to fix a street or road they always do it on a wrong day and hold up a lot of traffic. If I was to buy a car I would definitely buy a jeep because the tires on that thing are really good on streets and roads.
