Adam
Guerrero: Question 4
My major will impact my goals because it is what I want, I
want to be a film director, and Columbia is the only college around that has
what I want, what I strive to be. I hope that Columbia can provide me with the necessary
tools to become a film director, so in the long run I can be the best at what I
do. Yes, it’s going to be a masterpiece, I want everyone to see what work I’ve
done and enjoy every second of it and say they loved it. First, to finish the
bridge program, get my LAS courses out of the way, take every film and video
course I can take, also minor in business management, because you have to know
your business, then start making short films and putting them in film festivals,
try to get connections, and hope to
land up a job as a film director. The challenge I see is trying to get a job as
a film director, because now and days it is hard to find a job in that field,
and if I do get a job in film directing there are going to be challenges trying
to make the movie going from place to place, and getting the money to make the
film. But I will face my challenges cautiously and carefully. I will try my
hardest to learn everything I need to know about film and to do my best in
making that film.
Yes, I believe in God, the father, the son, and the holy
spirit, he is our father in heaven and the only God that exists ever. I strongly
believe in the afterlife or other people call it heaven, we will all go there
on day and be judged by God himself if we are worthy enough to enter the gates
of heaven or depart to hell. I would handle the end cautiously and be prepared
for whatever comes my way, no matter how big or small the situation is, I would
be ready.
